What Makes BML Different?
Those in the legal field, like many other professions, have several options for their career path. Some will choose to pioneer a solo firm or partner with another attorney or two to share office space. Others will choose the security of the largest and most prestigious firms to cut their teeth and rise through the ranks. Still others are looking for a middle ground where they are part of a team that is building and growing together, yet not a cog in a corporate machine.
Ball Morse Lowe is a very well respected firm in the Oklahoma legal community. We desire to grow and serve an array of clients while retaining our personal touch. At BML, we believe culture is king and we strive to build a culture that focuses on:
- High Expectations + High Value: We are dedicated to producing the highest quality, thoughtful legal counsel to each and every one of our clients. At the same time, we place the highest value on our people. After all, we are professionals that want to be the best while also having a life outside the office. Those two things may feel like they are at odds, but they don't have to be. Unlike many law firms, we have worked to cultivate a culture of gratitude and humility. We are all on the same team at BML and the cleaners are treated with the same respect and kindness as the partners.
- Team gatherings: We all know how much time we spend at work. As a result, we also know how important it is to enjoy those you work near. In order to get to know one another, we have quarterly team gatherings outside of the office. This could be a day at the lake, an OU tailgate, a dinner, or any number of fun activities. While some are geared for employees and significant other, some gatherings are for the entire family.
- Service projects: Giving back to the communities we live and work in are an important part of BML. Each quarter, we do one all-firm service project to serve those in need in our areas. Often times, you will find smaller teams volunteering monthly at organizations around the OKC Metro. In addition, many of our attorneys volunteer to give their legal skills to non-profit organizations or sit on boards of non-profit charities.
