The Domestic Mediation Center provides a unique setting for resolving your domestic litigation matter in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. With a professional staff possessing expertise in the areas of divorce and family law, as well as conflict resolution, consensus building, and collaborative strategies, the Center provides an encouraging atmosphere for resolving your family law case. The Domestic Mediation Center is proud of its commitment to the collaborative process in resolving the increasing number of high conflict domestic matters in Oklahoma.
Mediation is a non-adversarial process for resolving disputes. At The Domestic Mediation Center, a skilled neutral third party referred to as a mediator guides this process. The mediator assists participants to focus on the real issues of the dispute, clarify misunderstandings, explore solutions, and negotiate an agreement in the best interest of the matter. All domestic and family law issues, such as custody, visitation, and child support, can be successfully mediated if the parties approach mediation with the right attitude, which is something our Oklahoma City domestic mediation attorneys can help both parties achieve.
The mediation process itself is structured so that persons unfamiliar with the process will quickly become comfortable. At the mediation session, each person has the opportunity to share their side of the story and their thoughts about the situation. The parties then begin to work through the issues they want resolved.
The mediator may meet with everyone together and will also meet individually with each side. This offers participants the opportunity to communicate to the mediators their real interests in the dispute as well as to vent anger or frustrations outside the presence of the other party. The mediator will work with each person, within the mediation parameters, until an agreement is reached that is acceptable to everyone.
Upon reaching an agreement, the agreement is put in writing and signed by the parties involved, along with their attorneys. If time permits, a final order will be drafted at the time of the mediation to facilitate an efficient resolution of the matter.
The Domestic Mediation Center is conveniently located in central Oklahoma City. The building is easily accessible with parking readily available outside the front door of the building. When you arrive at the Center, you will be greeted by a warm and pleasant face, offered coffee or refreshment, and immediately shown to your respective mediation room.
The mediation space at the Center is ample with two conference rooms, each providing access to television, digital presentation tools, refreshment, and confidentiality due to their divided positioning within the building. Wireless internet will be provided to each participant, and use of Google and Apple presentation tools will be available should a presentation be desired by a participant.
Mediation can be an all-day affair. We at the Center facilitate the occasion by providing refreshment through the day, and lunch at 12:00 for those participating in full day mediation.
A half day mediation involves three (3) hours of mediation and begins at 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The cost for a half-day mediation is $600.00.
A full day of mediation begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. with the parties working through the lunch hour. As stated, lunch will be provided to participants and one attorney. The cost of a full-day mediation is $1250.00.
Should your mediation require more than the allotted time scheduled, the parties will equally be responsible for payment of the mediator at the hourly rate of $250.00 per hour.
You will have the option of utilizing two mediators that must be selected at the time of the scheduling of your mediation. Oklahoma City domestic mediation lawyer Chris Smith is available to mediate your family law case.
You may also wish to utilize a different mediator you’ve selected but still conduct the mediation at the Domestic Mediation Center. We welcome this and encourage those without space ideal for mediation to consider using the space at the Domestic Mediation Center. Contact us today for more information on how to utilize our space.

I cannot thank Karen Pearson and her team enough for all the support they've shown me throughout my unfortunate divorce. With all the twists and turns thrown at my situation both in my personal life, but also my military career. This team always made me feel as though my case took priority. I will forever be grateful for them and highly recommend either of them to represent you as you drudge through your specific situation. Thank you again to Ball Morse Lowe team for everything you did on my behalf.
Ball Morse Lowe, PLLC offer exceptional knowledge in the oil and gas industry among many other things. I have worked with Senior Attorney, Chris Michael, multiple times and he continues to exceed expectations. If you are looking for a group of hard working, time efficient, diligent, and ethical attorneys, Ball Morse Lowe, PLLC and specifically Chris Michael would be a great choice.
I felt like I mattered. I felt like what I had to say was important. Glenn was thoughtful, encouraging and understanding. She helped me navigate the process and validated my thoughts about things I was not sure. Thank you Glenn!!! It was great working with you!
I turned to Ball Morse Lowe PLCC when I needed my mother's estate probated in Oklahoma. It involved mineral rights and I live in California and my mother had not lived in OK for over 60 years. I wanted a firm that would do this correctly and be reasonable in cost. Brian Hill was a pleasure to work with. He and his staff were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They made the experience of probate painless, explained things as we went along, and were clear in their expectation of what they would need from me to move the process forward. I am so glad I found them and appreciate deeply all they accomplished on my behalf.
