Position Summary
Ball Morse Lowe PLLC is seeking a strategic, growth-oriented, and execution-focused Director of Marketing to lead the Firm’s marketing function across a growing multi-state, multi-site platform. This is a high-impact leadership role for a marketing executive who can shape strategy, elevate brand and market position, support attorney business development, and, above all, drive qualified lead generation with accountability to pipeline, intake quality, conversion, and revenue outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings executive presence, strong judgment, and the ability to translate Firm priorities into clear, measurable marketing initiatives. This leader must think like a true marketing executive, setting strategy, aligning stakeholders, and building scalable infrastructure, while also being comfortable rolling up their sleeves to drive execution in critical growth areas such as search, paid media, conversion rate optimization, referral generation, email/lifecycle marketing, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Firm’s marketing and growth strategy, aligning brand, business development, and demand generation efforts to support revenue growth and lead generation goals.

Build and execute annual marketing plans, budgets, campaigns, and performance dashboards tied to qualified leads, cost per lead, conversion by source, intake quality, and ROI.

Strengthen the Firm’s brand positioning, messaging, and market visibility across offices, practices, industries, and channels.

Partner with Firm leadership, attorneys, Intake, and corporate teams to support business development, referral growth, cross-selling, and client acquisition.

Oversee digital marketing strategy, including website optimization, SEO/AEO, paid media, email nurture, content, social, directory presence, and conversion optimization.

Develop scalable systems, workflows, and reporting that improve lead management visibility, marketing accountability, and handoff to Intake.

Lead internal marketing staff and external vendors with clear expectations, disciplined execution, and measurable performance standards.

Lead strategic planning for Firm events, sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and community-facing initiatives

Serve as a trusted advisor to Firm leadership on market opportunities, competitive positioning, growth strategy, and marketing performance.

Supervisory Responsibility
This role carries supervisory responsibility for The Firm’s internal and external marketing resources and requires consistent cross-functional leadership across a multi-state and multi-site environment. The Director of Marketing will oversee internal marketing staff, direct the work of outside vendors and consultants, and coordinate with attorneys, division leaders, corporate teams, and other Firm stakeholders to ensure disciplined execution of The Firm’s marketing, business development, and lead generation priorities.
This position also requires close collaboration with The Firm’s Intake Division to support effective alignment between marketing strategy and intake operations, including lead handling, inquiry response processes, source tracking, lead qualification, and conversion-related workflow considerations.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This is a sedentary role with the physical abilities below may be required.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, salaried position with typical working hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 am through 5:00 pm. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with business needs.
Required Job Qualifications, Experience, Education and Training
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, preferably in a law firm, professional services firm, or similarly sophisticated client-service environment.
- Demonstrated success leading strategic marketing, brand, communications, and business development support initiatives with measurable qualified lead generation results.
- Experience working directly with senior leaders, high-performing professionals, and multiple internal stakeholders across a complex organization.
- Broad command of modern marketing disciplines, with particularly strong hands-on expertise in one or two areas directly tied to lead generation performance, such as SEO/SEM, paid media, conversion rate optimization, email nurture, referral generation, or analytics.
- Experience managing teams, budgets, vendors, agencies, and competing priorities across multiple locations.
- Experience partnering with intake, sales, or client conversion functions to improve lead handling, source visibility, and conversion outcomes. Law firm or legal industry experience strongly preferred.

- Experience supporting practice group marketing, attorney business development, and referral relationship development.
- Experience with CRM platforms, website CMS tools, email marketing systems, analytics tools, proposal automation tools, and marketing attribution/reporting platforms.
- Experience managing rankings, directory submissions, market recognition efforts, and content-driven demand generation campaigns.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
