Shayla B. Powers

Shayla's career in the legal field began long before she became an attorney. She started as a legal assistant, working her way through law school and earning her degree in 2023. With a background in insurance defense law, she brings both hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the legal system to her work.

Driven by a strong sense of service, Shayla pursued law to equip herself with the tools to help people when they need it most. She thrives on analyzing every detail of a case, exploring all angles to chart the best path forward for her clients.

Outside the office, Shayla enjoys life in Edmond with her husband, son, two cats, and corgi. An avid reader and Lord of the Rings fan, she spends much of her free time with a book in hand or tending to her garden. Originally from a farm in Southeast Oklahoma, she cherishes opportunities to visit her (very large) family whenever she can.
