Shelby Y. Hembree

Shelby Hembree is an attorney at Ball Morse Lowe, where she serves on the Oil, Gas, and Energy team. Her practice centers on title examinations, and she brings both curiosity and precision to every project. Shelby enjoys the process of tracing land history and ownership—uncovering the details that shape each opinion and ensuring every story is told accurately and clearly. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law, where she received the CALI Award in Administrative Law. Shelby also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Oklahoma State University, a foundation that helps her combine analytical skill with a thoughtful understanding of people and context. Outside of work, Shelby enjoys reading, caring for her houseplants, and spending time with her poodle, Minerva.
